One of life's little pleasures is a good pizza and I love me a home made pizza; preferably a thin crust one. People have different preferences but if I'm honest, a thin crust pizza is just the bomb diggity and you guessed it, I'm giving you a recipe for a thin crust pizza.
Makes 2 12' pizzas
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour and extra for rolling the dough
1 pack active dry yeast ( 7 to12 grams)
1/4 tsp salt
1tbs sugar
1 cup warm water
3 tbs oil
In a large bowl, mix the sugar into the warm water then sprinkle yeast on top and wait for 10 minutes or until it gets foam.
Add flour, salt and oil. Knead until you have a slightly stiff dough that is smooth and elastic (if its sticky ad too elastic, add a bit more flour).
Cover with cling film and let rest for 10 minutes. and your dough is ready to use.
If you want to freeze it, do not let the dough rest, instead, just roll it into a ball, wrap it in cling film and freeze.
